Airfix is a British manufacturer of injection molded plastic scale model kits of aircraft and other objects. In the UK the name Airfix is synonymous with plastic models of this type, often referred to simply as 'an airfix kit', even if made by another manufacturer. The worldwide reference in the field of model making, especially when it comes to their historic model aircraft.

1. Lockheed F-104G Starfighter (1975, no. 02011-6, Series 2, Bundeswehr Luftwaffe)
The 104G, commonly known as the Super Starfighter, was chosen as standard equipment by six European air forces. This beautifully detailed 37-piece model is complete with West German Air Force markings.
2. Vought F4U-1D Corsair (1975, no. 02054-3 Series 2)
35 expertly detailed parts create a prize model of this brilliant American fighter that rose to fame in the Pacific against the Japanese during World War II. Complete with US Air Force markings.
3. Lysander (1975, no. 02053-0 Series 2)
Working closely with the French Resistance during the war, the Westland Lysander was the only Allied aircraft that was able to successfully land behind enemy lines and return to base. This Airfix kit comes with R.A.F. markings.
4. Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star (1975, no. 02043-3)
The first American fighter jet built in any numbers, this famous ground-attack type was the mainstay of the Allied efforts during the Korean War. This 53-piece kit contains markings for two aircraft of the period.
5. Saab Draken (1975, no. 02039-4 Series 2)
In service with the Swedish and Danish air forces, the "double delta" Draken is used as a fighter and for photo reconnaissance. Underwing racks carry a wide variety of weapons.
