A beautiful pair of Arita Japanese porcelain lidded vases with white-blue decor dating from the late 19th century with floral motif. The Japanese porcelain industry dates back to 1616 when a Korean ceramist discovered that you could make excellent porcelain with crushed stone from the Arita area.
In almost perfect condition.
