Rare, beautiful and very decorative Pharao table lamp from the Belgian quality brand Lustrerie Massive from the 1970s. Mid-century, Hollywood Regency style in gilt brass and black artificial marble base.
Massive Lighting or 'Lustrerie Massive' was founded in 1926 in Belgium. For much of its history, the company was a family-owned business and in 2000 it was honored as “Best Lamp Manufacturer of the Year.” Massive Lighting was known for its high quality and original design that varies between classic and modernist styles. In 2008 the company became part of Phillips Corporation, making this vintage lamp from 'Massive Lighting' actually quite rare.
