This versatile Dutch painter is particularly known in the south of France and Italy. He used different styles. Van Reken is best known for his nature views from the Brabant Peel and his Kempen scenes with swamp landscapes. Van Reken is mentioned in Rkd, the Dutch art books and Artprice.
