A beautiful small masterpiece by the internationally acclaimed Dutch painter Leo Grijseels (1884-1966) entitled 'Dunes landscape around Scheveningen'. A typical work of the Dutch school, signed by the master at the bottom left.

Leo Grijseels was a late impressionist painter of The Hague cityscapes in the style of Floris Artnzenius, but also made paintings of the landscape around The Hague and Scheveningen.
