Rare, floral orange-brown vase in the so-called fat lava style (German glazed ceramics) designed by Jakop Schwaderlapp for Jasba. Marked and serial number N602-1022.
Jakob Schwaderlapp founded Jasba in Ransbach-Baumbach in 1926. The company name Jasba is composed of the first two letters of the founder's first name (JAkob), the first letter of his surname (Schwaderlapp), and the first two of the second part of the place of founding (BAumbach). Jasba became known for using bright colors on more complex shapes. In 1971 they stopped producing vases.
