Claude Leroux graduated from the Beaux-Arts school of Bordeaux as a pupil of Gamby and Chapelain-Midy. He was awarded a gold medal at the "Salon des Indépendants" and showed his works in several other exhibitions around the country. His paintings are mostly made in France (in Bordeaux and the Côte d'Azur): seascapes, still lifes, landscapes, which reflect his natural talent: harmonious compositions, a very detailed yet spontaneous and broad brushwork, and a way of to express oneself full of love for beauty.
