The Capodimonte porcelain was a product of the Royal Manufacture (Italian: Real Fabbrica) Capodimonte in the city of Naples, in the Kingdom of Naples. The Royal Manufacture existed in the 18th and 19th centuries. It was located in the Capodimonte park of the same name. In the 19th century, some family businesses took up the tradition of the Royal Manufacturers. Since then they have been producing porcelain pieces under the name Capodimonte, using traditional methods. The name is legally protected.
