Peter Vereecken: 'The bull hunt' - Abstract art - Oil on canvas - Belgium - 2000-2009
Captivating, large abstract work by the Zandberg painter Peter Vereecken with the figuration of a bull hunt. Oil on canvas, signed bottom right by the master. Professionally framed.
Peter Vereecken is self-taught. Already fascinated by films and comics as a child, he made his first drawings at the age of six. When he was 25 years old, he discovered the Irish painter Francis Bacon and his decision was made: he would become a painter. He taught himself everything about (the technique of) painting and made friends with artists who inspired him. Peter's paintings are powerful and impulsive.
