In The Crab with the Golden Claws (1941) Hergé returns to the exotic adventure. This leads Tintin and Bobby to North Africa. He foils the plans of a gang of criminals who hid opium in crab boxes. The album also marks the introduction of Captain Haddock to the comic series.
