Due to an ultrasonic invention by Professor Zonnebloem, numerous mysterious events occur at Molensloot Castle. All the windows and other glass objects suddenly shatter. It soon turns out that spies want to kidnap Zonnebloem in the hope of mastering the plans of his new discovery. The villains are Bordurians, the eternal enemies of the Syldavians. And to make matters worse, they seem determined to use Zonnebloem's invention as a weapon of mass destruction.
