Captivating landscape painting by the Waregem painter Jules Bossuyt with a menacing cloud cover above the river Leie. Oil on canvas, hand signed by the master lower left and dated 1972. In a gilded oak frame with a pearl frame.
Jules Bossuyt was a Belgian painter who was born in Waregem in 1920 and became a member of the Waregem Painters' Guild at a young age. Bossuyt exhibited with this art circle on 27 February 1944 in the Parthenon in Ghent.
