Antique chromolithograph of the original watercolor 'Any more off Sir' by renowned British painter and illustrator, Lawson Wood. It shows a little girl operating her rag doll in the role of a hairdresser. Copyright belonged to the legendary British publisher Lawrence & Jelliecoe Ltd. London, but printed in Belgium by the famous Brussels printer and screen printer J.L Goffart, early last century. Signed in the plate and beautifully framed in gilt oak.

Lawson Wood (23 August 1878, Highgate, London – 26 October 1957, Devon) was an English painter, draftsman and designer known for his humorous images. He also illustrated a number of books. He was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolors and has exhibited work at Walker's Galleries, Brook Street Art Gallery and the Royal Academy.
