Exceptionally large modernist work by the American painter Lee Reynolds Burr (1936-2017), titled 'Village under the sun'. Oil on canvas, signed lower right and professionally framed.

Artist Lee Reynolds received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California, and in the 1960s became the director of Vanguard Studios. Lee Reynolds paintings were done in acrylic or oil-based media, had basic patterns, and included a range of subject matter intended to fit into any decor. Despite the number of paintings signed as artist Lee Reynolds, only those signed Lee Reynolds Burr were created entirely by him. This work was produced by the Vanguard Studios. Nevertheless, a decorative gem!
