Bernard Bosschaert (Wervik, November 8, 1933) is a Belgian painter, who belongs to the so-called Bruges School. Bosschaert is a painter of landscapes, forest views, seascapes and typical Bruges cityscapes, as well as nudes and still lifes. He received his art education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leiden. After finishing it, he opened a studio in Bruges and mainly offered himself as a landscape painter, influenced by the French impressionists and the Barbizon school. He went on to paint city and village views, beach scenes and also Paris streets.

Bernard Bosschaert became a member of artists' groups in Ostend, Knokke-Heist, Assebroek and Lede. With these organizations he participated in exhibitions in Gistel, Bruges, Lissewege, Ostend, Lede, Knokke-Heist, Ypres, Roeselare, Kortrijk, Ghent, Antwerp, Lille (FR), Eindhoven (NL) and Aix-en-Provence (FR). ).
