The first private German porcelain factory was founded in 1814 by Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther, in Hohenberg/Bavaria. This factory was finally reopened by DIBBERN in 1997. The traditional art of crafting fine ceramics is continued here, in accordance with the highest standards of quality and excellence in craftsmanship. DIBBERN is known worldwide for designing and producing a unique product: Fine Bone China – a term that originated in England and literally means very fine porcelain with a high percentage of botas (bone).
