Albert Eeman: 'The Church of Kerksken' - Oil on canvas - Belgium - 1976
A beautiful work by the self-taught Albert Eeman who sketches the spirit of the times in the Belgian village of Kerksken in Haaltert in the 1970s. We see the old church of Kerksken, with a magnificent blue sky. Professionally framed in gilded oak.
In addition to being a teacher, Albert Eeman (1920-1989) was also a self-taught painter who mainly concentrated on village views, still lifes and portraits.
