Sorry, Wrong Number is a 1948 American film noir directed by Anatole Litvak and produced by Han Wallis. The leading roles are played by Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster. It follows a bedridden woman who hears the murder plot while on the phone. She tries to help her husband solve the mystery and prevent the crime. Stanwyck was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Leona Stevenson in this film.
