Rare, endearing winter landscape with a mill in the artists' village of Sint-Martens-Latem under the snow (1920-1986), entitled 'Molen in Latem under snow'. Signed by the master lower right and titled on the back. In a sober, white-colored oak frame.

Julien Van Langenhove (Ghent, 1920 - Sint-Martens-Latem, 1986) trained at the Art Academies of Dendermonde and Menen before settling in the artists' village of Sint-Martens-Latem. Was known there, among other things, for his romantic-realistic landscapes and Leie views. Mentioned in “The Belgian visual artists from the 19th to the 21st century” by Paul Piron.
